Jenny McBride is a graduate student in the Religious Studies Department at the University of Virginia and a frequent participant in the Project on Lived Theology. In her paper A Theology of the Southeast White House Hospitable Meal, she uses the thought of Søren Kierkegaard to examine the theological dimensions of the bi-weekly "reconciliation luncheons" hosted by the Southeast White House, an urban community ministry in Washington, DC. Jenny worked at the Southeast White House prior to coming to the university.
