Posted on December 26, 2015 by PLT Staff

Paper presented by Dolphus Weary at the second meeting of the Lived Theology and Race Workgroup in Memphis, Tennessee, and Oxford, Mississippi. Weary discusses the history Mission Mississippi, the theology underlying the organization, and its mission in the community.

Excerpt: “Now within that we asking some questions, how do we draw a circle of inclusion rather than a circle of exclusion? Many times denominations draw circles of exclusions, but we are not a denomination we are a movement of the body of Christ and so we are constantly trying to ask questions about how to we draw circles of inclusion.”
