Recording of a lecture given by Don Coleman and Corey Widmer at the Spring Institute for Lived Theology 2009 in Charlottesville, Virginia. Coleman and Widmer reflect on how their paths intersected to form East End Fellowship, a church in Richmond modeled on the principles of John M. Perkins’ ministry, the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA).
Excerpt: “The church is giving us the context to kind of work through the painful implications of what’s actually happening in the community. It is giving us a context to work through and become a mature gathering of people together.”
