Nicholas Rowe

Nicholas Rowe is dean of student engagement and associate professor of history and peace studies at Gordon College. He has served in faculty and administrative roles in the United States and South Africa. Although Rowe’s original training is in the history of cultural identity formation in the Atlantic world, his research and teaching interests center around popular memory and how it shapes communities and groups in conflict. Rowe consults and advises groups and organizations seeking to work through conflict resolution.
