Interview with Tonya Howard on Lived Theology

Posted on May 5, 2015 by PLT Staff

Bekah Menning, former project manager of the Project on Lived Theology, interviews Tonya Howard. Howard, the tutoring coordinator at Charlottesville Abundant Life Ministries, shares details about her work at CALM. She discusses how she came to be involved with CALM as well as the ministry’s impact on the community and her hopes for the future.

Excerpt: “One thing I would say is that people want hope. They want to see hope. And they want to see good things happening. And I just felt blessed that God made it possible for us to buy a house here in the community but I never thought it would be in this realm of also serving the community. So it is a blessing and it’s hard at times but it’s good.”
