Drew G. I. Hart

Drew G. I. Hart is an author, activist, and assistant professor of theology in the Department of Biblical and Religious Studies at Messiah University, with ten years of pastoral experience. Along with teaching theology, Hart partners with community groups and churches across the country by facilitating anti-racism training and seminars as well as delivering lectures and talks for colleges and conferences. He is the author of Trouble I’ve Seen: Changing the Way the Church Views Racism (Herald Press, 2016) and Who Will Be A Witness: Igniting Activism for God’s Justice, Love, and Deliverance (Herald Press, 2020), and has a Christian Century-hosted blog called “Taking Jesus Seriously.”
