Johnnie Carr

Johnnie Carr was a leader in the American civil rights movement. In 1967, Carr became president of the Montgomery Improvement Association, succeeding the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., and held this office until she died in 2008.

Carr was a consultant for the Lived Theology and Power Workgroup third meeting.
