Jemar Tisby (BA, Notre Dame; MDiv, Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson) is founder and CEO of The Witness, Inc.; co-host of the “Pass The Mic” podcast; and Assistant Director for Narrative & Advocacy at Boston University’s Center for Antiracist Research. His writing has been featured in the Washington Post, CNN, The Atlantic, and the New York Times. He has spoken nationwide at conferences on racial justice, U.S. history, and Christianity, and is the author of the award-winning book The Color of Compromise: The Truth about the American Church’s Complicity in Racism and How to Fight Racism: Courageous Christianity and the Journey toward Racial Justice.
